1928, Fanny Chambers

Hard to believe that Fanny Elizabeth Chambers nee Aldham was 41 with three kids,. But she had had a privileged upbringing. The crows-feet by her eyes have been softened in reproducing the photo (she may even have touched up an original print, and re-photographed it. Both she and Louis knew how to do such things, Fanny had learnt how to paint and to hand-tint photographs from Louis, and her Uncle was a early photographer.
